Conference Programme Now Available
The 16th OxMetrics User Conference will take place on 3 & 4 September 2015 at Aix-Marseille University, Aix-en-Provence, France.

The OxMetrics User Conferences is an internationally established forum for the presentation and exchange of research results and practical experiences within the fields of computational and financial econometrics, empirical economics, time-series and cross-section econometrics and applied mathematics.
The Conference will feature contributed paper sessions, a PhD SPEED presentation session and a panel discussion with the OxMetrics developers.
The conference is open to all those interested, not just to OxMetrics users, from academic and non-academic organisations.

Meet the developers
The OxMetrics developers will be in attendance (Jurgen A. Doornik, University of Oxford, Sir David F. Hendry, University of Oxford, Siem Jan Koopman, VU University Amsterdam, and Sébastien Laurent, Aix-Marseille University). The conference will again include a round table discussion with the developers on Friday 4 September 2015.
Conference Features
The conference will again feature the ‘Ana Timberlake Memorial Lecture‘ and the round table discussion with the developers of OxMetrics software where users and those interested will gain full access to the developers of OxMetrics Software.
PhD SPEED presentation sessions
Replacing poster sessions, the conference will again feature speed presentations from PhD students in the mid/end of their studies. The presentations will summarise motivation, model and main results of a research topic of their PhD dissertation. The students will be given 10 minutes each to present their work. The programme committee will evaluate the quality of both the presentation and the research topic, awarding the best a £250 prize and a full copy of OxMetrics 7 Enterprise, made available by Timberlake Consultants.
